RADCOR 2017

24-29 September 2017 St. Gilgen

The main theme of the conference is the application of quantum field theory calculations to particle physics phenomenology focused on making high-precision predictions in the high-energy regime covering collider and flavor physics relevant for the LHC era and experiments in the future. Recent developments in theoretical studies of radiative corrections in the framework of the Standard Model and its extensions will be discussed as well as how these results impact the interpretation of available experimental data. Along with this, recent computer-algebraic, combinatorial and mathematical innovations to perform these calculations will be discussed.

CKM 2014

ESI Program on Jets and Quantum Fields for LHC and Future Colliders

Jets are one of the most common objects observed in high energy particle collider experiments. They consist of a number very energetic collimated stable hadrons and their distribution and shape can be used to learn about the high-energy process that took place when the initial particles collided. A good understanding of jets is the basis of carrying out measurements at all modern collider experiments such as the Large-Hadron-Collider (LHC) currently taking data at CERN, at B-factories or a future Linear Collider. The intention of the workshop is to have an "Aspen"-type meeting with physicists having a strong theoretical interests in both conceptual and phenomenological aspects of jets.

Workshop on Precision Measurements of alpha_S

9-11 February 2011
Max Planck Institut für Physik

The idea of this workshop at MPI für Physik is to explore and discuss in depth the determinations of alpha_S(m_Z) in the MSbar scheme from all the key categories where high precision measurements are currently being made. Since alpha_S is important for certain LHC measurements and since there are discrepancies in some determinations, such a workshop certainly seems in order.
