Abstract

Philosophy of nature is defined as opposed to the model of physics as well as to epistomology and transcendental philosophy The question "what is space" is first dealt with in the old paradigm with space and time separated The philosophical notion of "aporon" is introduced as the self-contradictory unity of object and communication It is argued, that gravitation is the necessary communication providing the "existence" of space The concept is extended to Minkowski's space-time In order to achieve this, the philosophical notion of "now" is introduced and the problem of "duration" or "substance" is dealt with
